Martha is a sweet girl with so much love to give. She came from a home with her siblings, but while her brothers were adopted quickly, Martha was left waiting after needing some medical care. She was eventually adopted, but despite everyone’s best efforts, it was determined that she would be happiest in a quieter home and she has now been returned to our care.
Martha has made it clear that she would do best as the only pet in the home. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment where she doesn’t have to share her space, and where she can feel safe and secure.
Martha does have a minor eye injury from past infections that caused some damage to her tear duct. Her third eyelid is slightly visible and her eye may water from time to time, but it is not infected, does not cause her pain, and does not require surgery — it’s simply part of what makes her unique.
Despite everything she’s been through, Martha is incredibly affectionate and loving. She loves a snuggle and is just waiting for the right home.
