Special Status:
Shy Cat
Date of Birth:

Loves other dogs cats. Buffy was a very wild cat which was trapped whenshe was pregnant, she gave birth prematurely to 7 kittens due to the stress of being confined indoors, 5 of these kittens did not make it as Buffy had no idea what was going on and these kittens were far too weak to survive. Her 2 remaining kittens were found and hand-raised with a lot of TLC and have since been adopted into loving homes. Buffy is a beautiful, gentle and sweet young cat who is very trusting of her caregiver and extremely affectionate. She is still a tad weary of strangers but is getting better every day. Buffy needs a kind and patient owner who is willing to give time and lot's of love to earn Buffy's trust...once given, Buffy will be the best pet ever. Buffy does great with other cats and seems to really enjoy big hyper dogs too (as long as they are nice to her).

Good with other cats Nick had been fending for himself for at least a year in a residential area of Strathmore. He had been seen off and on by many people but wouldn't allow anyone to come close to him. The winter of 2005 he overcame his shyness in hopes to land himself a nice warm home. For several weeks he had attempted to enter a home every time the door opened. Once this happened we finally got him! Nick was a challenge at first due to his tough nature he had no reason to trust us because people had chased him away for so long. Nick has been with us since Christmas '05 and has proven that he did indeed come from a home at some point...he has really shown us his true self! He will let us pick him up and play with him, he loves his toys and does great with the other cats now.
