Each month a Happy Cat volunteer will tell you about one of the many special kitties here at Happy Cat - this month, Cindy has picked MacGyver and here's what she wrote Thanks Cindy!!
MacGyver came to us as a kitten from a feral mother. I remembering him being soooo terribly cute, and trying to be so tough with his little kitten hisses when I tried to pet him. It didn't take too long to win him over, and while sometimes he'll still shy away from touch when I first go to pet him, he warms up quickly and is the type of cat that will just purr and purr and purr for as long as you're handing out the loves. He's come along way from the shy, scared little kitty he was when we first got him, and he's grown into a rather gorgeous cat. He seems to get along well with the other residents at the shelter, so I think he would do well in a house with other cats. If you give him a chance to warm up to you, you won't be disappointed with this boy!
